Travis Early College High School (ECHS) opened in 2008-2009, with its inaugural class of 9th-grade students. An additional cohort of ninth-graders was added each year, and the school's first class of seniors graduated in spring 2012.

| Travis ECHS provides students the opportunity to earn a high school diploma and up to 60 college-credit hours or an associate degree and to do so in an academically supportive environment, at no cost to the parent or student. Students also have the opportunity to earn a Distinguished Achievement Program diploma. In addition, Travis provides opportunities for students to make a seamless transition between high school and a two-year college, culminating in entry and completion of a four-year degree program at a college or university. |
