Frank Zavala

     I am excited to be a Bearcat this school year. I received my Bachelors degree & Masters degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio and I am currently working on my Educational Doctorate degree.

 I first started teaching in the Harlandale ISD at Vestal Elementary where I spent 2 years as a behavior unit teacher and 2 years as a PE teacher. I then moved into administration as an Assistant Principal at Jackson Middle School for 2 years in North East ISD. I then went to Somerset ISD where I served as Assistant Principal at Somerset Elementary for 2 and a half years before coming to SAISD. I have served in administrative roles such as Principal and Vice Principal for summer school. I have also coached elementary, middle school, high school, and college teams in football, basketball, volleyball, and track.

 In addition to working at schools as an administrator I was also an Adjunct Instructor at Texas A&M San Antonio for the School of Education.
