Dear Parents and Visitors:

Welcome to Woodlawn Hills Elementary School.  We are the home of the Mighty Proud Trojans! This school year 2007-2008 our Academic Target is to be rated Exemplary by TEA. At Woodlawn Hills Elementary, you can rest assured that every staff member will be committed to the education and success of every child.  Every day we will work together as a team for the safety and well-being of all children.

In addition, the staff and I realize that parental involvement is a key component to the success of student learning. I strongly urge parents to please assist us with your child's learning.  Specifically in the areas that require your special attention at home. For example, you can ensure that your child completes his/her homework on a daily basis. I can't stress enough the importance of good communication between home and school.  Good communication will lead to strong academic progress. With your help and support, I look forward to another wonderful year where student achievement is accomplished.
