Young Women’s Leadership Academy Mandatory Information Meetings for Students and Their Parents Students who are interested in applying to the Young Women’s Leadership Academy are required to attend ONE informational meeting at the YWLA. Any applicant that does not attend the session will not be considered for enrollment. The YWLA staff will review the application process, admissions guidelines and the mission and goals of the school. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at 732-4851. The meetings will begin promptly at 6:00 PM and last for about an hour. Parents and students must be on time for the session. Location: Young Women’s Leadership Academy Auditorium - 2123 W. Huisache Ave. Time: 6:00 p.m. Information Meeting 1—Tuesday, November 2, 2009 Information Meeting 2—Thursday, November 5, 2009 Information Meeting 3—Tuesday, November 10, 2009 Information Meeting 4—Thursday, November 19, 2009 Unique Partnership Starts the School Located in San Antonio, Texas; the Young Women’s Leadership Academy is made possible by a unique public-private partnership between the San Antonio Independent School District and the Foundation for the Education of Young Women. This unique public-private partnership will also have the support of the Young Women's Leadership Advisory Committee.
