Welcome to the Young Women’s Leadership Academy (YWLA), a Texas Education Agency Exemplary all-girls public school in the San Antonio Independent School District. Here at YWLA, we are building tomorrow’s leaders and empowering young women to achieve their fullest potential through a rigorous college-preparatory education that is free of cost to our students. We expect every single graduate to enroll in a four-year university or college upon graduation. Our students are provided a strong support network to ensure they continue their academic success at the university level.

We teach our girls responsible leadership and emphasize skills that contribute to their general well-being because we believe these are integral components to their success. While our girls receive a well-rounded college preparatory education, they experience lessons that integrate math, science, and technology across the curriculum. Women have historically been  underrepresented in these career fields, and we are committed to developing our community's future leaders in all career fields.
