SPECIAL POPULATIONS TESTS

STAAR will include additional test formats to accommodate students with disabilities and English Language Learners:

  • STAAR Modified
  • STAAR Alternate
  • STAAR L (linguistically accommodated)



SPECIAL POPULATIONS

The State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) will include additional test formats to accommodate students served through special education programs and English Language Learners. These accommodations may include assessing ability with a different test design and/or allowing supplemental aids during testing.
