Expert: LTC (Retired) Santiago Bueno, Lanier High School JROTC instructor
The U.S. Army has selected Lanier High School for its JROTC Cyber Pilot flagship program. The Mighty Voks Battalion is part of the inaugural cohort of the competitive program, making Lanier one of only two schools in Texas and among 11 in the nation to be invited. LTC (Retired) Santiago Bueno, JROTC instructor, can explain how the program will prepare students for cyber careers with honors- and university-level curriculum and mentoring. The four-year cyber curriculum will launch in the 2022-23 school year.
