To all SAISD Staff:

As we prepare for our Fourth of July break next week, may we also reflect on the significance of Independence Day and the freedoms we share in this country. And even more so, the freedoms for which we must continue to fight until all individuals truly benefit. This is a great country, and it will become even greater when freedom and equality are unconditional. It is that vision that we celebrate.

I hope this coming week is also one of respite from the hard, but fulfilling, work we do every day for our students. I wish you an amazing break, but also one of rest. May you gain a sense of renewal so that you come back refreshed and ready to make miracles happen for our kids.
