What:   SAISD to hold third annual Districtwide showcase featuring all SAISD schools

Who:    Representatives from all schools and programs

When:   Jan. 11 (Saturday) – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where:  Freeman Coliseum Expo Hall C, 3201 E. Houston St.

San Antonio ISD will host its third annual Districtwide school showcase – titled Experience SAISD – to highlight the full range of school options available to students. Representatives from more than 90 neighborhood schools and specialized campuses will be available to answer questions, helping families determine which offerings at the District will best meet their needs.

Parents will be able to learn about extracurricular activities, including athletics and fine arts, afterschool and extended day options, Pre-K options, dual language opportunities, special education programs, and more.

Student performances and interactive demonstrations will also be held throughout the event. Families will enjoy free food and drinks, children’s activities such as inflatables, games, face painting, books, as well as drawings for prizes, including an iPad, bicycle and Spurs tickets.

The event is open to families throughout San Antonio and Bexar County. Admission and parking are free. Complimentary shuttle service will also be provided from seven locations in the District: Burnet Learning Center, and Burbank, Edison, Jefferson, Highlands, Lanier and Sam Houston high schools. Shuttles will run every 30 minutes to and from the event. Event parking is free.
