Students (virtual and in-person), family members and staff ages 16 and older have an opportunity to receive the COVID-19 vaccine through District- and campus-coordinated events. Two upcoming vaccination clinics are scheduled for Wednesday, May 5. Both clinics run from 9 a.m. until noon at these locations:

Old Pfieffer Elementary School, 4551 Dietrich Road. First-come, first served. All participants must complete a registration questionnaire; additionally, a consent form must be completed for students who are 16 and 17

The vaccination clinic at Democracy Prep Stewart is in partnership with South Texas Allergy & Asthma Medical Professionals (STAAMP). See the flyer and the video, which shares compelling reasons from students and staff why the vaccine is important.

The vaccination clinic at the old Pfieffer Elementary School is sponsored by the Alamo Colleges District Eastside Education Training Center on a first-come, first-served basis. For this clinic, all participants must complete a registration questionnaire; additionally, a consent form must be completed for students who are 16 and 17.  If possible, parents should return these forms for students to the campuses by Tuesday, May 4, at noon; otherwise, they can be presented at the vaccine clinic on Wednesday morning.  Forms for parents or family members should be taken directly to the vaccine clinic on Wednesday morning. For those who need District transportation, arrangements will be coordinated through your home campus and SAISD Transportation.
