    SuccessMaker is available for ELAR in Grades 3-8 and is built in to the Savvas Platform.

    Byrdseed.tv ClassLink Icon

    New Teachers: Click the Byrdseed Annual Teacher Registration icon in ClassLink to register.  Come back to ClassLink and click the Byrdseed.TV - SAISD Teacher icon and enter the username and password you created.  Your account will be active through May 31, 2022.

    Existing Teachers: If you have an existing Byrdseed account, please log in using the Byrdseed.TV - SAISD Teacher icon and return to ClassLink to click the Byrdseed Annual Teacher Registration icon. This will update your account to be active through May 31st, 2022.

  • DBQ Online

    DBQ Online is the digital platform for the DBQ Project, which provides short units of study across grade levels to assist in teaching reading and writing in social studies. These units are grounded in engaging document-based questions that progressively get more complex as they guide students through various documents.

    DBQ is available in both ClassLink and Canvas to the whole school for sites with licenses.  DBQ provides Social Studies instructional materials in both English and Spanish.

    Edugence ELL Accommodations 

    • Step-by-step assistance in completing the Edugence ELL Accommodations form for teachers to document instructional accommodations provided for ELL student success.

  • Epic! is a free resource teachers can sign up for and use with their students during school hours. After school hours access can be purchased.  Please see the guide below for more information.

  • EVERFI is a free resource rostered by SAISD through Canvas and accessible in ClassLink. 

    With digital lessons focused on topics like financial literacy, entrepreneurship, STEM exploration, and health & wellness, EVERFI helps schools and educators prepare their students to be successful in the real world.

  • Explore Learning Gizmos

    • Gizmos - First Time Login for Rostered Teachers
    • New for 2021-22- Due to changes in the way Gizmos is administered, teachers will have to link their accounts in a one-time process.  (See link above.)
      • If a teacher previously had a Gizmos account, they can log in under "I have an existing account."
      • If the teacher has never had a Gizmos account, the teacher will need to log in under "I am new to ExploreLearning."

    When signed in to Istation, teachers and administrators also have the option to take advantage of their Chat support.  To do this, click on the green Get Help button (1) at the top right of the screen and, if it is available, select Chat (2).  Teachers also have access to the Help Center (3) where you can search for answers to questions if the Chat feature is unavailable.

  • Learning Ally is a leading nonprofit education solutions organization that transforms the lives of early and struggling learners through proven solutions from Pre-K through high school, to help students reach their potential.  Educators can join and use Teacher Ally, which gives educators the power to assign books to a student’s personal bookshelf, track reading progress, and generate reports to share with parents online.

    Teachers can go to the Learning Ally website (https://learningally.org/About-Us/Join), create their accounts, then come back to ClassLink and add the App to their My Apps screen from the library.  The Learning Ally app is a form post, which means it will remember any user credentials entered so that the end user doesn’t have to enter them every time they visit the site.

  • Campus Library Purchases

    Scholastic

    How to access the Scholastic Magazine+ resources:

    Teachers and students will access the Scholastic resources by selecting the Scholastic App which will take them into the Scholastic Digital Manager platform (SDM). Here they will see their purchased Scholastic resources. The teachers will be required to enter/re-enter in the access code for the selected resource.

    Teachers can find their Scholastic Magazines+ access code(s) printed on the shipping label with the mailed issue bundle, and in each issue’s Digital Resource Guide.  Codes are also available in the info field of the ClassLink app.

    Once the teacher enters in the access code, they will be prompted to select their school. This will provide the teachers with access to the magazine(s) and students will then be able to access the resources as well.

    Note: Students will not be able to access the magazine(s) until their respective teacher have entered the access code(s) first.
