Brackenridge JROTC Specials Teams compete at the 5th BDE Drill Team Championships
On Saturday, April 11th, the Brackenridge JROTC Special Teams showed up and showed out at the Annual 5th BDE JROTC Drill Team Championships! Our Unarmed Drill Team crushed it with a 4th place finish in the Inspection Phase! Our Color Guard battled hard and secured 5th place overall! And as a team, we placed 8th out of 17 teams across the entire brigade! This didn’t happen by chance, this is the result of relentless practice, discipline, and an unstoppable commitment to excellence all year long. Every rep, every correction, every late evening after school and many weekends, paid off!
One senior said it best: “It felt great to win at this level. It was my first time placing at these championships in the four years I have been here!“
And the excitement doesn’t stop there—another cadet shared:
"This was so exciting to win two trophies. I can't wait to come back next year, compete again and win even more!"
We couldn’t be prouder of this team. They didn’t just compete; they set the tone and raised the bar for what Brackenridge JROTC stands for.
