In celebration of Board Appreciation Month, we were honored to welcome Ed Garza, Board Trustee, for a special lunch with our student leaders! Students engaged in meaningful conversations about their future plans, hopes, and dreams and what it takes to turn those dreams into reality. They had the opportunity to learn more about Trustee Garza by asking thoughtful questions about his journey, experiences, and commitment to education. Our student leaders also shared what they love about Longfellow and expressed what they would like the Board to know about our campus. It was an inspiring exchange filled with insight, encouragement, and connection. Thank you, Trustee Garza, for your leadership and unwavering support of our students and school community. We appreciate you! 💚
Rey Feo 77, Dr. Oliva, and his court, brought some wonderful Fiesta spirit to campus today! Our students and staff gathered for a special assembly where he spoke about the power of education. He also honored several of our staff and students with well‑deserved awards that made the whole gym beam with pride. A big THANK YOU goes out to our LOTC, varsity mariachi group, Spartan cheerleaders & our Folklorico dancers for making the assembly extra special!
