San Antonio Area Retired Teachers Association Scholarship Recipients

On April 15, 2026, the local academic community gathered to celebrate two of its brightest rising stars. Seniors Sarah and Sylvia, members of the distinguished Class of 2026, were officially named recipients of the San Antonio Area Retired Teachers Association (SAARTA) Scholarship.

The award, presented by a committee of veteran educators, recognizes students who demonstrate not only academic excellence but also a deep-seated passion for the future of the teaching profession.

This Friday, April 10th will be a regular school day at Travis. This is a friendly reminder that scholars may lose course credit if not in attendance at least 90% of the time, per state law. This Friday, we will be passing out denial of credit letters to scholars that who are not meeting this criteria.
