YMLA 1882 Partnership
What is SB 1882? A Texas law that allows schools to partner with outside organizations to bring in more resources and support for students.
Why is YMLA exploring this? An 1882 partnership can provide extra funding, flexibility, and new academic opportunities for students.
Will this change my child’s school? YMLA would remain an SAISD campus. Students would still attend YMLA with their same teachers and staff. Any changes would focus on adding support, not removing what already works.
