Edgar Rodriguez (YMLA Class of 2022) is a graduating senior at the University of Notre Dame, where he is completing a degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialized concentration in semiconductors. Throughout his undergraduate career, Edgar has distinguished himself as both a scholar and a leader, participating in the Transformational Leaders Program and the Mary E. Galvin Scholars Program for excellence in engineering and science.
Outside of the lab, Edgar has been a staple of campus culture at WVFI, The Voice of the Fighting Irish, hosting his own weekly radio show on Fridays.
Following graduation this May, Edgar will launch his professional career with Applied Materials as a Field Service Engineer. His role will begin with a high-impact year working abroad in Taiwan before he transitions back to the United States to join the team in Phoenix, Arizona.
