Blue Jays showed up, showed out, and proved that attendance truly matters!
For the 1st Nine Weeks (August–October 2025), YWLA Primary was recognized as Attendance Champions, celebrating the commitment of our students and families to being present and ready to learn all day, every day.
Our students proudly held the banner high, representing the hard work, consistency, and dedication it takes to earn this recognition. Attendance is more than just being at school—it’s the first step to academic success, leadership, and building the habits that last a lifetime.
🌟 Why It Matters:
Students who are in class every day have stronger connections with their teachers and peers.
Daily attendance builds responsibility and prepares students for success in school and beyond.
Every Blue Jay counts—when one of us is here, all of us soar higher!
It was a neck-and-neck race with our friends at Wilson Elementary, and the Blue Jays pulled ahead to claim the title. This friendly competition shows how much both schools value showing up for success.
📅 Next Goal: Let’s keep the streak alive and aim for even higher attendance in the next nine weeks!
Congratulations, Blue Jays—your commitment makes a difference! 💙🐦
