A huge, heartfelt thank you to our very own veteran teachers—your service to our country and your dedication to our students is an inspiration to the entire Harris family. We are incredibly lucky to have you.
We also extend our deepest appreciation to the LOTC Color Guard and Band for their perfect execution and respectful, moving performances that made the ceremony truly memorable.

Last weekend, our outstanding Theater students and their amazing director, Ms. Rodriguez, participated in the district's Dia de Teatro event at Lanier High School. Our students participated in devised theatre and had a set time to create a play with a beginning, middle, and end, including props, scenery, and sound. This year's theme was Greek Mythology with a Twist- so students worked with stories like the Tale of Persephone and the Tragedy of Narcissus. Additionally, our students collaborated with other middle school and high school Theater students and directors. #DiadeTeatro #HawksSoarHigh #HarrisTheater #GreekMythology
Last night was full of Halloween fun, dancing, food, community, and Hawk pride at the Halloween Dance! Also, our parents were treated to a relaxing night of candle-making at our quarterly Parent Event! This week, we will celebrate Red Ribbon Week, which offers a dedicated time to promote a drug-free lifestyle and encourage healthy, positive decision-making for our students. Students may participate in the theme activities to demonstrate their solidarity and commitment to a drug-free environment in our school. This year's national theme is "life is a puzzle, solve it drug free."
