Lanier families: on Wednesday, October 14 and Thursday, October 15, some of our students will take a middle-of-year check on their English listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The results help our teachers plan the next stretch of instruction. If your student is testing, you will receive an email and a phone call from the school with their testing time. Make-up testing is Friday, October 16. Every day of attendance counts, and these two count a little extra.
Texas’ Free College Application Week is taking place Oct. 12-18, 2026. During this special week, Texas students will be able to apply to Texas public colleges and universities for free via the ApplyTexas application system. Don’t miss out – get your application in by Oct. 18!
