Our students had so many opportunities to learn, explore, and grow beyond the classroom! 🌱✨ From gardening alongside Sunset Ridge Farmers Market with our very own parent volunteer, Ms. Sarah 🌼, to our middle school students celebrating their hard work on an incentive field trip to Green Acres 🎉, and our 1st graders diving into hands-on learning at The DoSeum 🧠💡—it was a week full of meaningful experiences!

🎉 Fiesta Float Parade Reminder! 🎉
We’re excited for our Shoebox Fiesta Parade tomorrow! Families are welcome to join us in the back area to enjoy the celebration.
🔹 Students will be walking along the track area. Please see the diagram.
🔹 Parents may sit inside the grassy area (bring your own lawn chair—seating is limited and may be muddy from rain).
🔹 Families are welcome to stay outside on field after drop-off to set up their chair.
🔹 The back gate will close at 7:45 AM to redirect any additional drop-off to the front office. Please make sure kids arrive on time!
🔹 The gate will reopen at 8:00 AM for parking access
🔹 Entry will be through the back area only (not the front office) due to ongoing makeup testing
🔹 If you plan to sign out your student, please report to the back canopy for checkout
⏰ Important: Please make sure students arrive on time so they can line up and participate in the parade!

Our talented Mariachi Oso represented us beautifully last Saturday at the UIW Mariachi Showcase—showcasing their hard work, passion, and incredible musical talent! 🎺🎶
Today, our amazing Rayitos de Sol Folclórico lit up the stage at the Viva Botanica, helping kick off Fiesta San Antonio with vibrant dances full of culture, color, and orgullo! 💃🌺
Our Hawthorne Drumline was also in action at the OLLU Confetti Run—bringing the energy and Bear pride to the community! 🥁✨
We’re also celebrating our young artists from the Jr. Visual Arts Scholastic Event 2026! 🎨✨ Huge congratulations to Emerald and Lily for earning Platinum Medals—an incredible honor awarded to only the top 10% in their divisions! 👏🏽🏅 We’re also proud of Teancum for his participation and dedication to his craft.
