Good Morning Margil Families! 🎃
Just a reminder that our Halloween Parade will take place tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. We’ll begin with our 5th graders and make our way down through Head Start.
Parents are welcome to stand or sit in the track area, back parking lot, or courtyard to enjoy the parade. Students will parade through these areas twice, so you’ll have plenty of chances to wave and take photos!
If you plan to pick up your child early, students will be dismissed from their classrooms at the conclusion of the parade. Please make sure you bring ID.
We can’t wait to see all the creative costumes and share some festive fun together! 👻🧡

Margil Families! We are currently in 10th place for the SAISD Recycling Contest. We have the opportunity to win $10,000-$1,000, but we need your help! Please bring your recycled materials on STEM night, which is this Thursday from 3:30- 5:00 pm. We need old books, magazines, broken down boxes, etc. If you know of any businesses that will donate boxes, please let them know. The heavier the better! The class that collects the most weight in recyclables will win a pizza party! Help us win money for our school!
Margil Families! Join us for our Annual Halloween Parade on October 31st at 9:30 at the Margil Track. Student early release will be with their classroom teacher at the conclusion of the parade. Have a great weekend!
Please join us on October 24th for our first parent teacher conference day. Teachers will be reaching out to all parents for a conference and to pick up your child's report card. Parents can participate in Zoom, phone and face to face conferences. Flyers will be going home today.
Margil Immunization and Flu Clinic Tomorrow! Just a reminder: Margil Elementary is hosting a Student Immunization Clinic in cnjunction with Christus Santa Rosa Mobile Unit tomorrow from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the back parking lot.
Both students and all adults are welcome to receive their required immunizations and flu vaccines at this time.
Just a reminder....Margil will be having our first food drive on Thursday!, October 16th at 10:30 until supplies last. Please read attached flyer for more details.
