Recap of Last Week: Thanks to PTSA and Student Council for honoring our Veteran's with breakfast 💙🇺🇸❤️ Some of our Seniors engaged in the Forum on Entrepreneurship thanks to St. Mary's University and Ernst and Young 😊 Our Theatre 🎭 students departed to participate in the Thespian Festival in Corpus 🎭 Our staff was treated to a DELICIOUS birthday breakfast courtesy of our YWLA athletic booster club 🍳 😋 Our very own Hayden Perret 🏐 officially signed to continue her academic and athletic career playing both court and sand volleyball 🏐 at Loyola of New Orleans 📚 🧠 💪🏽 Our Transportation You students will went on an educational field trip focused on driver safety 🚗 🚙 Our 6th graders engaged in experiential learning with their garden lab 🪴 🪏 Whew 😅 what a week!!!! Attendance Incentive Winners ❤️ for the week ending in Halloween 🎃 Mrs. Alfaro was a bit behind but there are new winners to be announced for last week in place! We are still chasing that 98% goal! Let's stay focused on the prize. The number of recipients was small which means we aren't hitting the 98% goal as much as we hoped! Reminder all you have to do is show up. If your grade level gets 98% or better you automatically get 3 drawings. Top grade level (MS AND HS) gets an additional drawing. You could have up to 4 winners per week in your grade level!!!! We are also ordering new prizes...DID SOMEONE SAY TREE HUT?!?! PASTEL WATER BOTTLES? MINDFUL COLORING BOOKS? 🆕 GIFT CARDS?

Ballet Folklórico de YWLA is selling Día de los Muertos spirit shirts through the end of the week! Each shirt is $25 and features a cardinal alebrije, marigold flowers and papel picado letters. Order forms can be found on the round table in the lobby and all orders must be turned in with payment (cash only) to Ms. Balderas in room 205. I'll be in the main lobby after school tomorrow and Thursday to collect orders from 3:45pm to 4:05pm. Please see the flyer below for additional information!!
