If you are still trying to fully understand Apptegy, here is a quick start guide. All teachers should initiate a classroom message to parents by the end of business tomorrow, August 25th. This will allow you to then connect to all classes by using the link provided through text message for access to Apptegy. Thank you for working with us as well all navigate this new platform.
Tomorrow we will kick off the 1st Cardinal Connection of the year! We will focus on monitoring your student, including the use of Frontline and the new Apptegy platform for communication. Please join us tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. in person in the YWLA teacher's lounge. We will provide light breakfast items and award one parent hour for this meeting.

At YWLA, we will follow this protocol in collecting and storing student personal devices: YWLA is a cell phone and electronic device free campus. We do not allow students to use personal cell phones or electronic devices during the instructional day. All electronic devices are required to be put away and silenced.
6th Grade students must secure their devices in their locker for the duration of the school day.
7th and 8th grade students are not allowed the use of devices once on campus.
9th - 12th grade student must silence and put away all devices beginning at 8:25 a.m.
All students are permitted the use of electronic devices once the bell rings at the end of the school day. We ask parents to help us abide by the law by not texting or calling your student.
