As if Homecoming Spirit Week wasn't enough fun, we decided to also throw in 🧪 Chemistry Carnival 🧫 Thanks to our science department for organizing this engaging family event with a special shout out to Mrs. Tuxhorn!Thank you to all the student and staff volunteers because without additional support this would not be possible. Thank you to our families for coming out and thank you to Class of 2026 for running concessions.

YWLA XC represented at the Harlandale Meet Varsity and they came out Champions 🏆
Eva and Naomi medaled for Varsity and Lexia and Alejandra medaled for JV by placing in top 15! The Varsity XC team medaled for being one of the top three teams 🏆 Great job Cardinals❤️💙❤️💙

The October Cardinal Monthly is in your EMAIL for your viewing! There are several campus wide events taking place this month including our Fall Carnival, Campus Beautification, Chemistry Carnival and Trunk or Treat. Our students will also be receiving their first report card of the school year along with PSAT, ACT, SAT and TSI testing. Saturday School dates are included as well as academic competitions and a host of district student holidays.

Another week in the books for the YWLA!!!!
1. Our students came through with the 98% attendance goals and were rewarded!
2. Sisters in Faith collaborated with middle school students and a parent to bring Meet me at the Pole event to life
3. Navy to Red Ceremony celebrated our 9th graders entering high school.
4. Our photography students we super excited to see their new cameras thanks to Donors Choose.
5. We recognized our teachers who earned designations!
6. We recognized staff and students for exemplifying characteristics aligned to our mission and vision. September = Initiative. Thank you to PTSA for the gift bags.
7. AP Scholars we recognized for their hard work by adding pins to their ties!
8. The 7th grade basketball team is out there doing great things.
Special thanks to River City Produce for the special treat! They brought in 8 pallets of produce for all the students and staff to enjoy! The girls were already enjoying their fruits and veggies before leaving campus! 🍉 🍎 🍌 🥕 🥦

1. MS Basketball photos are tomorrow, 9/22. See photo for info.
2. The last day to purchase a Breast Cancer spirit shirt is and shirts will be delivered to students on 10/02/25.
Payment will be collected during middle school and high school lunches.
3. HoCo mums sales are going on now. Homecoming is right around the corner! The presale will end 9/25. Mums will be delivered by 9/26 to the school. There is a special Senior option!
