The goal of the Financial Accounting Department is to provide accurate financial records and comprehensive reporting of governmental, proprietary, and fiduciary funds. We demonstrate compliance with local, state, and federal laws, and TEA regulations in support of the District’s mission. The Financial Accounting Department safeguards the District’s assets: cash and cash equivalents; inventories and capital outlay.
The accounting department is responsible for the recording of cash receipts, processing of accounting forms, posting of general journals, maintaining the general ledger, coordinate the financial audit, and prepare the District’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report. We value customer service and financial transparency. We are here to assist with information regarding recorded deposits, deposit procedures, completing accounting forms and account inquiry.
