Makeup tests in June

As any student knows, test-taking can be stressful. And this week, due to a technical glitch that took place as students across the country were taking their A.P. exams, thousands of students’ were not able to submit their answers as they attempted to test online.

“There have been some issues with the online testing for A.P. Exams and the College Board has made adjustments to help alleviate them,” said Kevin Rasco, SAISD district coordinator for Advanced Placement. “This week and for the makeup exams, students will see a unique email address on their submission screen to utilize if the system fails.”

Rasco requests that if any SAISD teachers or staff know of testing issues that have prevented a student from successfully completing their exam to report the issue at this link for a follow-up. Rasco also reminds teachers that they will receive copies of all student responses on May 26.

“What we will ask you to do is comb through student responses and look for partial or incomplete uploads that resulted from technical issues,” he said. “We will compile a list and ensure that all students who experienced issues are registered for the makeup exams in June.”

All students who did not test in May are automatically registered for the makeup times listed below.
