Three high schools in San Antonio ISD are included in the newest rankings of public high schools by U.S. News & World Report. The 2020 Best High Schools rankings were released April 21, 2020.The rankings reflect data on more than 17,700 high schools across the country. This includes 2,075 public high schools in Texas. The highest-ranked schools demonstrate outstanding outcomes in math and reading assessments, college-level exams, and high graduation numbers.
According to the publication’s 2020 rankings, the following three SAISD high schools are among the top 5 percent in the nation:
Young Women’s Leadership Academy
#2 in the San Antonio area
#12 in Texas
#102 in the United States
Travis Early College High School
#5 in the San Antonio area
#91 in Texas
#673 in the United States
Fox Tech High School
#7 in the San Antonio area
#110 in Texas
#953 in the United States
