San Antonio ISD hosts final food distribution of the school year
Community volunteers and employees to serve 300 families during the distribution


WHAT: SAISD understands the importance of ensuring our families have access to nutritious food. Through our partnership with the San Antonio Food Bank, SAISD is able to provide this essential support.

MORE: Texas is ranked second in the nation for food insecurity with 1 in 6 living in food-insecure homes. The San Antonio Food Bank has quickly grown to serve 100,000 individuals a week in one of the largest service areas in Southwest Texas. Through their network of more than 600 partner organizations, including the San Antonio ISD, and their direct service programs, they distribute millions of pounds of food and groceries a year to combat hunger.
