WHEN: Friday, April 10, 2026; doors open at 5:30 p.m. Show starts at 6 p.m.
WHERE: Wilson Elementary School Cafeteria, 1421 Clower St., 78201
WHO: Student competitors
Talent show judges:
Jenny B, Tejano Music Awards, Best New Artist 2025
Cheyenne Saenz, “The Dancing Cowgirl,” Texas Country superstar
Erica Gonzaba-Hawkins, San Antonio vocalist and songwriter
Danny Farias, Pura Vida Awards, Songwriter Entertainer of the Year 2024
MORE: In 2023, Wilson Elementary held its first Selena talent show (photos attached). It has grown, and the event is usually standing-room only. The brainchild of staff member Rosa Narvaez, the talent show honors Selena, and it provides a powerful platform for students, particularly Mexican American and Latino youth, to see their heritage celebrated. It encourages them to embrace their roots while expressing their unique modern identities on stage.
