The SAISD Board of Trustees is inviting community input as part of its superintendent search process, ensuring the district’s future direction reflects the priorities of those it serves.
“This is your district, and your voice is the most important part of getting it right,” said SAISD Board President Alicia Sebastian.
Trustees are asking the community to help answer a central question: “What must we do as a district to ensure every student in San Antonio thrives?” Responses will shape a Theory of Action grounded in the idea: If we take these actions, then our students will achieve these results.
Community feedback – gathered through both a survey and a town hall – will help define the district’s key priorities and desired outcomes. This framework will guide Trustees in identifying the leadership qualities and experience needed in the next superintendent to deliver those results.
Community members can share input now through an online survey, which will remain open through Wednesday, April 29.
A town hall will be held on Monday, April 27, for those who wish to provide input in person. The event will also be livestreamed for virtual participation.
