Planned Scope of Work*

Overhaul historic original buildings
Overhaul or replace all classrooms and science labs
Overhaul or replace main office and main entrance to include secured vestibule
Overhaul or replace student dining and kitchen
Replace old exterior windows with new energy efficient windows
Update mechanical systems to the latest energy efficiency and indoor air quality standards
Add new outdoor learning opportunities or replace existing ones
Re-pave and re-surface parking lots and driveways
Add, replace and/or repair existing playground equipment

Update

Design work continues for bond improvements for the Advanced Learning Academy's Euclid Avenue campus, which serves grades PK-3. The District's project manager, architects, and campus leadership are in the process of assessing programming, existing conditions, and verifying scope and budget. Campus renovations will focus on classrooms, administrative space, and the cafeteria.

The Schematic Design process is expected to wrap up in May 2024, and then the project will move into the Design Development phase. (Learn more about project phases at the bottom of this page.)
