The Funds Management Department provides fiscal compliance support and guidance to Grant Directors and grant teams.

The range of services Funds Management provides below, helps to ensure that:

• Grant budget set-ups and budget transfers align with grant agency requirements
• Authorized staff have software access to process requisitions
• Required grant invoices, Financial Reports, Match Reports and Drawdowns are prepared and submitted by grant agency deadlines
• Timely notification of Grant Timelines is provided to meet fiscal grant compliance
• Other reminders, alerts and analysis as needed, is sent to grant staff
• The District’s EDGAR Manual and other fiscal processes such as internal controls are updated annually to ensure grant compliance with regulatory requirements: Federal, State and Local requirements
• Assistance is provided with fiscal audits and fiscal grant monitoring
