The Facilities Services Department is comprised of various technical and trade work groups and is responsible for facility maintenance, custodial and grounds upkeep, and management of the physical plants serving all school and support facilities utilizing a computerized work order system, a radio dispatch center, clerical staff, a fleet of vans, trucks and utility vehicles, as well as various heavy equipment and construction equipment. The Department is comprised of various technical and trade work groups that address emergency and routine repairs, preventive maintenance, rehabilitation, retrofit, and/or replacement of various building components and systems. The Department also consists of a newly created Energy & Sustainability program which includes maintaining comfortable and safe environments while optimizing energy performance.
