Mission Statement

The Department of Special Education Services promotes inclusion and supports students with disabilities in gaining college and career readiness, and independent living skills through a rigorous, nurturing learning environment, high-quality instruction, and support services that enable all students to reach their full potential.

The Department of Disability Services seeks to enhance and strengthen the effectiveness of behavioral and disability support services through inter-departmental collaboration; ultimately creating instructional improvement strategies for the District in all areas to support academic achievement for all students.  Additionally, our goals are to provide and implement effective student support services, strategically deliver specially designed instruction, and equip leaders, teachers and staff to consistently apply effective instructional practices that will maximize student achievement.
