HOW TO REGISTER ON AVELA

Please click on each tab below to learn more.

1. Log in With Your Avela  Account

To register for 2024-25, log in with your Avela account linked email or phone number.

2. Update Your Information

Select or add the child you want to register. Update your information, complete required fields, and acknowledge all documents. You will need to complete registration each school year for every child attending SAISD.

3. Upload Documents 

Below are the documents you will need to register. Documents may be uploaded directly onto AVELA, texted to (210) 309-3259, or brought to your child's school.

  • Home Icon

    Proof of SAISD residency is needed to re-enroll if you have moved and have a new address (utility bill, phone bill, lease agreement, etc.).

    Child's up-to-date immunization records are needed and are dependent on grade level

    Families who do not have their own homes or have been displaced and students who are in foster or kinship care may register without certain documents. Contact Family & Student Support Services at (210) 554-2635 for more information.

4. Submit and Confirm!

Once you have updated your information and submitted your documents, click "Submit".

1. Create an Account

On the Avela registration page, click "Sign Up" at the bottom.

2. Add Your Information  

Once you are signed in, create a new student for every new child attending SAISD for the upcoming school year. Add your information, complete required fields, and acknowledge all documents. 

Registration on AVELA is now available

  • Go to SAISD.net/enroll
  • Click on New to the District
  • Create an AVELA account with a phone number (Or an email option is available)
  • Register each child in the family, and Click Submit
  • You're done! Be on the lookout for confirmation text messages or emails

3. Upload all Documents

Below are the documents you will need to register. Documents may be uploaded directly onto Avela, texted to (210) 309-3259, or brought to your child's school.

4. Submit and Confirm!

Once you have added your information and submitted your documents, click "submit".

  • id card Icon

    Photo ID (driver’s license or military ID, etc.) of person registering the child

    Home Icon

    Proof of SAISD residence (utility bill OR phone bill OR lease agreement, etc.)

    Birth Certificate Icon

    Child’s birth certificate or other proof of child’s identity and age

    Social Security Card Icon

    Child’s Social Security card, if available (preferred, but not required)

    medical record Icon

    Child's up-to-date immunization records needed for in-person learning

    grade sheet Icon

    Recent academic records (report card, withdrawal form, transcript, etc. preferred, but not required)
