Course Description: Customer Service
The CSS Certification is a soft skills certification that validates one’s work skills through employability concepts. Developed to meet the role of an evolving service-oriented job market relevant to every industry, employer, and employee. Topics included are safety, ethics, respect, teamwork, communication, telephone and
email techniques, problem solving, interpersonal relationships, and sales and marketing. Graduates of this program will obtain an industry recognized ETA CSS Certification and be referred to
Integrated Human Capital for employment opportunities.
Course Description: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
The classes cover a comprehensive range of topics such as how to bathe a patient, position a patient properly, proper body mechanics for lifting and transferring patients. Also, topics such as recognizing depression, dealing with dementia, infection control issues, and perineal care. There is much to learn, so classroom time is partly lecture and part hands-on skills training. The clinical aspect is 40 hours and the student will be assigned a clinical externship at a long-term care facility to master all the skills you are taught during your lecture and skills training.
Course Description: CompTIA IT Fundamentals+
This competency-based IET course provides students a preview of technical instruction and practical experiences necessary for work in a career requiring computer skills. IT Fundamentals: This course is designed as a starting point for a career in Information Technology. It will help you learn more about the world of IT and provide the necessary entry-level skills to become a systems support professional. Instruction includes IT literacy, environmental and safety concepts, operating systems, software, hardware, networking, alternative technologies, security and computational thinking. Upon completion, the student will be knowledgeable and have the skills to set up and use a computer at home securely and keep it in good working order and to provide basic level support for personal computers and simple computer networks, mobile, applications, and network support to your colleagues in a small business. The IT Fundamentals+ training will result in adult education students receiving the CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ industry recognized certification (upon passing) which is required for entry-level IT jobs and opens the door for further opportunity for employment in the technology industry.

Course Description: The Medical Billing and Coding
Technician training class is designed to teach the knowledge in technical and procedural aspects of basic medical billing and coding, including using ICD-10-CM and CPT code books, various coding systems,
government programs, and general insurance procedures such as HIPPA Privacy Rule and Worker’s compensation claim forms required to become a Certified Medical Biller and Coder. The program will teach
students the concepts of Introduction to Medical Billing and Coding, Ethics, Introduction to Human Anatomy, Medical Billing and Coding Equipment & Supplies, Medical Billing and Coding Procedures, and Medical Billing and Coding Fundamental Essentials. This class is designed for learner’s who want to advance their career or interested in starting a career in the medical field to become a medical billing and coding technician.
