How much do the classes cost?
All ABE, GED, and ESL classes are free of charge.
How do you sign up for classes?

Where are classes located and at what times?
We have classes throughout the day and evening at many locations within the San Antonio Independent School District Boundaries. Class times vary from site to site.
What is Distance Learning?
The GED and ESL distance learning program consists of either sole online classes or a combination of in classroom study and at home computer study. Students interested in participating in distance learning are required to attend regularly scheduled registration and orientation sessions Distance Learning is an option for those unable to attend a traditional adult education class or who would like to enhance their classroom experience.
Can anyone take classes?
Adult Education classes are available to all students 19 and over. Students who are 17-18 years old must have parent permission to attend the program. Students who are 16 years of age must have a court order and parent permission.
Do I have to take classes before taking my GED® test?
No, if you feel you are ready to take the GED® test, you may register at GED Testing Service.
