Jacob Ramos
Trustee - District 3
Jacob Ramos grew up in San Antonio ISD’s District 3 and attended all SAISD schools - Kate Schenck Elementary, Rogers Middle School and graduated from Highlands High School. Jacob is a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and following his service, he attended Texas A&M San Antonio, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics (2018) with a minor in Computer Information Systems.
As the son of two retired educators, Jacob understands the importance of public education and the significant role our neighborhood schools play in strengthening our communities and as a current SAISD parent, he recognizes that all students deserve to have an advocate.
As a SAISD student, Jacob received special education services, which he knows made a critical difference in his ability to accomplish his goals. He is now a fierce advocate for special education, speaking in favor of the investments necessary to ensure that SAISD students who receive special education services can thrive in our district and beyond.
Jacob is a member of Our Schools San Antonio, the SAISD Budget Committee, and is a member of the Highland Hills Neighborhood Association.
Jacob and his wife, a fellow Highlands High School alum, are current SAISD parents and you can find them on the weekends at the baseball fields or enjoying the outdoors with their kids.
Jacob is proud to serve the residents of SAISD District 3. As a trustee he will continue to work towards bringing parents and community members together to support our students, teachers, and school workers because our students’ education is the foundation of the future. His term ends in 2029.
