The Social Studies Department supports social studies instruction districtwide and provides professional learning, resources and supports to teachers.

Our goal is to develop students who are prepared to be informed and active citizens who advocate for themselves and their community and possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills that can be applied in a variety of contexts.
