Board Audit Committee
The Board of Trustees established the Audit Committee as a standing board committee with no start and end dates.
The purpose of the Audit Committee is to assist the Board in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities. This includes the processes related to the District’s financial reporting, system of internal control, audit, risk management programs and the monitoring of compliance with laws, regulations, and the District’s code of ethics.
The Audit Committee Charter describes the important role the Audit Committee plays in helping the Board fulfill its responsibilities.
