Student Spotlight: (Tonight) Student artwork to be part of Restored by Light

Student: Emily Rodriguez, 10th grader at Young Women’s Leadership Academy

Emily Rodriguez says her artwork, depicting the sun and the moon, is a representation of the relationship she has with her grandmother. “She always tells me that she loves me ‘to the moon – and back.’ I wanted to make a piece that shows and honors my connection to her,” Rodriguez said.
