Industry Partners

Industry partnerships with P-TECH campuses involve the following:

•Assignment of an Industry Liaison to communicate with selected campus P-TECH Coordinator (an employee to implement commitments)

• Utilize a Skills Map that details entry-level job needs when engaging with P-TECH Support Teachers, during advisory board meetings, with Work Based Learning Specialists, and with students to ensure proper employable skills preparation occurs; committing to put graduates “first in line” for jobs

• Get involved in work experiences that include mentoring, site visits, guest speakers series, project days, and internships

• Collaborate with High School and College to ensure that work experiences are
 integrated with high school and college coursework
