How have SAISD schools shaped you into the person you are today? 

SAISD schools have shaped me into the person I am today through diversity and adversity. Although SAISD is a small community and largely Hispanic, I've been able to experience the many different people in our world and learn to accept different viewpoints across the board from all different backgrounds and up comings. I have also dealt with the pressure of people possibly thinking negatively, but SAISD has showed me that there is a way to become successful regardless of your circumstances. 

Who has been most influential to you in your education and why?

The most influential person my education has been my AP U.S. History, AP Government and Economics teacher, Mr. Lipman. The classes and atmosphere that he creates around him have inspired me to work so much harder not only in the classroom, but in life as well.  

As a leader of the Class of 2022, what is your hope for the Class of 2022 as they move on to the next chapter of their lives? 

As a leader of the Class of 2022, I hope the graduates will move forward in life proving people wrong and achieving the goals they desire. With an ever-changing world and adversity everywhere, it is important that the Class of 2022 understands the importance of being dedicated and focusing on reaching their aspirations. Overall, I wish nothing but the best for my graduation class.
