Mission Statement

The Asset Management Department is committed to the mission of the District and Finance division. We ensure the proper accounting and financial reporting for the acquisition and disposition of the District’s fixed assets in compliance with District, State, and Federal policies and guidelines. We are committed to providing superior customer service to our stakeholders, as we ensure the prudent fiscal stewardship of the San Antonio ISD’s assets.

Goals

To provide accurate financial records for the school district by providing a comprehensive reporting of fixed assets
Establish safeguards and maintain appropriate stewardship of the location and value of fixed assets
Comply with generally accepted accounting principles as promulgated by Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) and as required by Texas Education Agency (TEA) / Financial Accountability System Resource Guide (FASRG)
