San Antonio ISD’s School Performance Framework (SPF) will help us measure school quality and better support schools. The SPF was designed in collaboration with principals, teachers,
parents, and
students so that it reflects our community’s core values. It incorporates elements of academics, school environment, and social-emotional learning. The SPF will be used to empower educators to accelerate student achievement and to make equitable decisions related to school support and improvement. It is one of the Board’s and the Superintendent’s key strategies for improving our system and schools.
We will continue to engage our community in the Pilot SPF results during the 2021-22 school year to further refine the tool.
