San Antonio ISD, in collaboration with Palo Alto College, will roll-out the AlamoPROMISE initiative to Burbank High School seniors. In between drumrolls and rustling pompoms, students will learn how they may benefit from a tuition-free education at Palo Alto College or any of the five colleges in the Alamo Colleges district.
AlamoPROMISE covers tuition and required fees for students seeking an academic certificate or associate degree from any of the Alamo Colleges. Students meeting eligibility criteria receive a last-dollar scholarship for up to three years, which covers the cost of tuition and required fees after financial aid awards are applied.
The application period is now open for eligible seniors from Burbank and other participating high schools to ‘save their seat” for tuition-free college as an AlamoPROMISE Scholar.
Scholarship applications received by May 1, 2022 will be given priority consideration.
