Jan. 18, 2022 – The San Antonio ISD Board of Trustees today announced it has taken the next step in its search for a new superintendent. Earlier, at a regular Board Meeting on Dec. 13, 2021, the Board selected JG Consulting to serve as the firm to lead the search process for a new district leader. JG Consulting, in collaboration with the Board, is launching the process today with a survey and invitations to attend a town hall meeting.

“The SAISD Board is committed to a transparent process that encourages feedback from everyone in the community,” said SAISD Board President Christina Martinez. “As part of this process, the Board is seeking input on the qualities the community would like to see in the next superintendent.”

Parents, staff, students, and community members can share their input on the traits they believe the SAISD district leader should have by completing a survey in English or Spanish:

All stakeholders also are invited to share their input at a town hall meeting. Seven meetings will be held throughout the district over a two-week period, from Jan. 24 through Feb. 4, all beginning at 6 p.m. Each Trustee will host one of the town hall meetings in their single-member-district, and each meeting is open to the entire community.
