SAISD and the Southwest School of Art host "Best of the Best Showcase" 
 
20 SAISD students will be awarded scholarships to the Southwest School of Art summer camp programs during the opening event

Earlier this spring, SAISD high school clusters held visual art showcases, and now the highlights from each show are being featured in the "Best of the Best Showcase."
 
Ten student artists or student group collaborations were chosen from each of the individual cluster shows by San Antonio professional artists. The selections were made based on several factors including creativity and imagination, mastery of technique and materials, and demonstration of maturity and vision beyond their respective ages.

During tonight’s opening reception, the Southwest School of Art will present 20 scholarships to students to cover tuition to their summer camp program. 
 
The "Best of the Best Showcase" will be on exhibit through June 9.
