Educators with a passion to help students succeed are being sought by San Antonio ISD for the 2022-2023 school year. An in-person Teacher Career Fair will be held Thursday, July 14 to recruit bilingual teachers, special education teachers, math teachers, science teachers, librarians and counselors. Pre-hire opportunities will be extended to qualifying individuals.
Interested teachers are encouraged to register in advance at
www.saisd.net/JulyJobsRSVP. During online registration, educators may also request to virtually connect with a recruiter at a later date if they are unable to attend on July 14.
The event is being held at Brackenridge High School so that job seekers will be able to see an SAISD campus. Educators in attendance will learn about SAISD’s employee benefits, professional learning opportunities, and other teacher support.
Salaries, stipends, incentives and other benefits
SAISD offers entry salaries over $55,000, with up to an additional $3,000 in stipends for special education and bilingual educators. A master teacher initiative gives educators an opportunity to earn incentive pay in addition to base salary, which could provide an additional $5,000 to $26,500 annually for qualifying teachers.
SAISD is an approved Teacher Incentive Allotment district, which will increase teachers’ earning potential over time in designated subjects.
SAISD employees are offered a comprehensive benefits package and multiple retirement plans including TRS, Social Security, and annuity accounts (457, 403B, and 457 Roth).
SAISD provides a positive work environment within a caring culture.
