July 23 (Sat) – Burbank High School "Last Look"
10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Burbank High School, 1002 Edwards St., 78204

Consider this the last day of school EVER at the old Burbank High School. SAISD Superintendent Dr. Jaime Aquino and Board Trustee Art Valdez will be joined by SA City Council member Teri Castillo and more than 1,000 alumni and community members who are attending the Burbank High School "Last Look" event on July 23. The current Burbank High School campus has been a fixture on the south side of San Antonio for 85 years, and the memories of its many former graduates will be reawakened this weekend. The home of the Bulldogs first opened in 1937. To meet the needs of today’s students, the campus became part of SAISD’s Bond 2016 program, and a brand-new building was envisioned. The long-awaited, state-of-the-art academic facility will welcome its first students on Aug. 16. However, prior to the continuation of school improvements and the grand opening of the new facility, alumni will visit the original campus and reminisce their high school days.

July 25 to July 29 (Mon to Fri) Mission IN ME at Bridge Camp at CAST Med High School
8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., CAST Med High School, 2601 Louis Bauer Dr., 78235

This bridge camp for 9th graders and new 10th graders coming to CAST Med aims to build positive, supportive relationships (with peers, teachers, staff & families) along with a sense of identity and purpose as well as acclimate students to the CAST Med school community. The week kicks off with a field trip to Mission San Jose at 9 a.m. Monday as students focus on their identities and purpose going into the high school.

July 26 to July 28 (Tues to Thurs) Jefferson High School Camp MYP
