San Antonio ISD’s Rogers College Prep Middle School model will open in the 2023-24 school year, offering rigorous, high-quality college preparatory instruction, starting with 6th grade students from inside and outside San Antonio ISD borders. Through college and career exploration, enrollment in accelerated core courses and access to high school credit courses, students will gain the academic and college-readiness skills that will prepare them for future college success. The school will expand the programmatic model by one grade level each year to become a 6th-8th grade campus. Rogers Middle School’s College Prep model creates a culture of learning that is student-centered and promotes self-reflection. Students collaborate to support each other’s learning and collectively find solutions to academic challenges. The school offers tours and information sessions, the first of which is listed below:

Graebner Community School will be an SAISD Choice School beginning in the 2023-24 school year. Graebner is an elementary school serving students in Pre-K through 5th grades both inside and outside the district. The school will create culturally relevant academic experiences by utilizing student-centered materials that relate and connect to their cultural and familial background of our community. The curriculum will be based on culturally responsive pedagogy, such as cultural arts and community learning exchanges. Their culturally responsive pedagogy has three key tenets: academic success, cultural competence, and critical consciousness.
